Driving through the prairies in the summer is a HOT and buggy endeavor. However the canola fields were in bloom creating the most stunning yellow landscapes under vast blue or stormy skies. There was a moment when I passed this little barn and had to slam my breaks on and backup on the hwy (don't worry I was on the shoulder with no one around)! There was a storm just starting to roll in so the skies were getting darker. All together it made for a beautiful little scene. These are two variations of the photos as I used different lenses for different looks. You can find two other photos on the site as well.
