I've only recently ventured into photographing Aurora Borealis. On this particular night there was a severe solar storm that caused the most intense northern lights I've ever seen. I was zipping around Pender Harbour all through the night, trying to capture moments from different vantage points. I remember sitting on a rocky beach with my dog at 3am, watching such spectacular lights (the first photo), that it actually made me tear up. I'm sure the sleep deprivation had a little to do with that too! But that was definitely a night I will always remember.

You can choose between a Lustre Photographic Print or a Fine Art Giclée Print. Please read the descriptions below!
Lustre Photographic Prints are printed on Fujifilm PD Lustre paper. This creates a beautiful image with a slight sheen (between matte and glossy) and a slightly pebbled texture. Images have a classy, muted appearance while enhancing subtle details!
Unlike traditional photographic prints, Fine Art Prints are made using pigment inks in an inkjet process onto high quality paper. The paper has a more artistic look and feel, with a greater tonal and colour range than photographic prints. Colours are brighter and richer and images are crisp and sharp. I use Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White paper. It is extremely resistant to ageing and offers the highest life expectancy of several hundred years. The permanence of the print, i.e. the colour adherence is ink dependent and with UV resistant inks (pigmented inks) can last for more than 100 years. Fine Art prints are more delicate than photographic prints and should be handled with care.
Please note there may be a slight variation in colour due to callibration differences between your monitor and the printer.
